Been on a trip over the pond to the Isle of White today with Mr Rrickoshea. Bloody cold but payed a second visit to Puckpoool battery, posting a couple of pics here as its gotta be one of the best preserved Victorian forts Ive been to on access land. Hardly a sign of vandalism or Chav graffiti. If Only Portland was this good. We also visited Ventor down radar station which hasn't been so lucky, sad for such a historical site:tinysmile_cry_t3:. yes it was bloody cold - its the last time I listen to you when you say 'I've got a cunning plan for the weekend' and then 'lets go for a 4 mile walk along the seafront on the IOW'! You could at least have spelt my handle correctly - there's 2 Rs.

Nice pictures, i will be going over there for a week in May so that is another thing for me to have a look at when i get there.
Best regards Weasel.
