Bretagne, 1719 https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0072053/. This movie shows all strata of French society, from the bottom to the King, the way I believe it really is (was). Excellent acting, just look at the leading role names.....And for the American audience, it shows how Louisiana has been artificially "populated" in the most brutal inhumane way.
