Question about Common Pointed 2 pounder projectile

i would like to get the proper colour scheme for this shell so i can repaint it also i would like to know the markings mean
is has on it

Hi Vickers303, The 2 might be a lot number, 2Pr is 2-pounder, FS is Forged Steel, RW Ltd B is Rudge Whitworth, Birmingham (I think) followed by the date, N indicates Naval issue. The other marks are probably Inspector's stamps. It would have been painted black, with a white ring on the ogive, with (if filled) a red ring below. They were only filled with black powder up until after WW1.
