Question about flashbangs

The bits in the voids around the body are plugged when live before use. Looks like the pictures are of spent flash bangs.
 
That one looks like a 9 bang. Each hole is filled by a charge and the label covers the charges. In Canada the proper name is Grenade Hand Flash and Sound 9 Bang (as I recall). There are different makes and models ranging from 1 large charge to 9 small charges. I have never seen any with more than 9 charges. I know NICO also makes a 5 bang version. There are also attachments that will attach to the bottom of this one, a pointed metal piece for breaking windows and a CS gas attachment.

I was just wondering the holes in it is that a sign of it being used? I'm assuming perhaps a unused flashbang would have a covering over the holes and then that blows off from the blast but am I wrong?

also, does anyone know what the proper name for that flashbang type? Thank you

Well..... in the add it clearly states that they are inert and that they are "Genuine FIRED flash bangs" so yes, the open holes are a sign that they have been used.
