I collect details of munitions manufacturers. The three letter code has as yet not been explained. Until now, I've only ever seen the stamping on Canadian made cases. This, as far as I can remember, is the first time I've seen them on an American made case. The letters appear to increment with the date;
PMA 24.9.17
PRP 29.9.17
