Repro Mills box from Soldier Of Fortune

Am thinking about buying this to store my Mills grens (cheaper than an original and new condition):

has anyone here bought one of these/is it a good repro, for WW2/post-War Mills?

... And will No.69s fit in spaces meant for Mills?

It looks like a nice box, but its not a pattern I recognise for mills grenades. The official box is a G36, see http://www.bocn.co.uk/vbforum/threads/28346-G-36?p=62364&posted=1#post62364 ignore the first picture! the rest of the pictures on the first page show real grenade boxes, all of the same design, a G36.

For no 69 grenades you need a B167 see http://www.bocn.co.uk/vbforum/threads/30077-British-grenade-boxes As you can see they are made of Steel not wood. On the bright side they are quite readily available.

I've never seen a Mills Box with those metal clips on the end. Here's photo of my WW2 Box.

Looks to be a WW1 No 5 Box. If so that's great. The fixing are unlikely to be correct for a No 36 though. Thanks for finding it.

Im Thinking that box could be WW1 but it does not show the markings underneath,,,,,,,,, Dave
