Does anyone know where I could get a reproduction of this WW2 poster ? I have looked on the net, but cannot find this one. It would look great on my wall :cheer: Tony.
Hi Waff, Yes it's all English, I think this was aimed at the Home Front market, presumably to help stop Children and Adults picking up things and taking them to pieces. Top row; No 76 SIP grenade, No 77 WP grenade. Second row, No 73 A/TK grenade, No 69 bakelite grenade. Third row, No 36M Mills grenade, 2" HE mortar, No 74 A/TK grenade aka The Sticky Bomb. Fourth row, 25 pr HE shell ? No 68 A/TK grenade. Bottom, 3" mortar HE shell. Tony.
It may be just a tad too late. But, the artist of this poster is abram games. Google him and you will find a printable image of this and the other 2 in the series. I printed them off quite easily. Hope this is of help
