rifle grenade ?

Hi all, hope everyone is ok and keeping safe, please see attached pic, this belongs to a friend of mine and are unsure what it is, My thoughts are it is a rifle grenade but not sure after that , it is above a 40mm Bofors break up projectile so about 30mm diameter, if anyone has any ideas then this would help my friend out no end.

Hello Womble,
I had one of these for sale on Quickfire last year for £20, but it didn't sell. So I would say the going rate might be less than £20!
