RML Conundrum

Hi All, hope you had a good Christmas and Santa bought you some interesting ordnance

This pair of RML shells turned up in the store before Christmas and are giving us a hard time with ID

Approx dimensions are 86mm diameter - 175mm tall - weight 4.5kg ( or in old money 31/2" diameter - 7" tall - weight 10lb )

There are 2 bands of 6 studs. The studs look like they are made of brass. There are no markings on any part of the shell.

We have had many RML's over the years all with copper or zinc (early ones ) never with brass studs.

Any help with a positive ID would be welcome.

Cheers
