Round identification please - Curious

Recently found a shed load of used rounds, head stamped L18A1 RG 60... just curious as to what they are and what they are generally used for. I am new to this and have searched the whole site for this stamp with no success.

Hi Chris,
I think you must be looking at the date upside down! L18A1 RG 09,should be a 5.56 blank,they also use this L No for a contacted in 9mm ball,but will not be by Radway Green.
