I came across this set today. Does any one know anything about this kit ?
Not sure if it is correct to the hat (which is the main thing here) or what might be
missing. No markings, or labels, nothing missing from what I can see.
Very itchy wool and such a dark blue to almost black.
Rather surprizing set to see over here.
I am rather in the dark when it comes to navel kit.

It looks a lot like what this fellow is wearing and the image rather dates it as well, 1960.

Thanks, judging by the Photo it is a pretty simple kit too - a pair of matched socks and polished
Oxfords would finish it ~ There seems to be a lot of tying of things with the neck pieces -
When I collected ww1 uniforms I could never find a ww1 Seaman's outfit so I'm not
used to this form of dress at all.
