Have seen them in Afghan, but with a 60mm mortar - depending on the mortar fuze it could be used in a launched weapon if the set back is great enough.

This tinkering was developed in 60 mm and 82 mm by the Iraqi munitions factories at the time Saddam Husssein. Shooting mandatory curve!!!!!!!

We saw them in the Gulf. It seems like there was also a PG-9 version for the BMP gun? That was a 73mm, but still took the shape of the mortar. Strange piece.

I've been off the site for a while, but here goes.

It has no value, it is scrap metal. With the exception of WWII German, WWII Japanese and pretty much any grenades, the ebb and flow of collector interest is not high enough or consistent enough to establish real value. If you pay $200 for this piece today, can you get your money out of it tomorrow? Next month? Next year? Don't collect as an investment, collect because you love ordnance. Pay what it is worth to you, sell for what someone else will pay, don't look back on either.

Good to be back.

Thank you for that, its not something I collect and I'm thinking of selling it so just wondered on the value

Thanks
