Russian АЖ-2

New items in colection;
Russian АЖ-2 incendiary ampoules.
The most АЖ-2 and АЖ-2ks was used in combat at the Battle of Kursk, against German tanks, armored vehicles and other.
Capacity Ampoules АЖ-2 - is 1 liter incendiary mixture (KS), incendiary mixture temperature reached 800-1000 C.
Ampoules used in the assault-type aircraft Il-2, packing them into trays cassette KMB. One such tray can hold up to 150 pieces АЖ-2 with a diameter of 125 mm.

I presume it is you who is the seller on Specialist Auctions this week selling x1 Ampoule for 100 ? Very interesting, I have never seen one before and did not realise they were so small. WF

No, of course no. I dont even have acount on Specialist Auctions.
Lot of them was find some time ago, some of them was sold by other collectors. I think somebody try slod them now, but 100 ?!?
I think that is an exaggeration...
If anyone is looking for АЖ-2, just let me know by PM, we still have lot of them in different condition. Two types of body.
Trade or sale, of course much cheaper.
