Russian air dropped mine

Not my are of expertise but thought I'd include a photo of this nasty little thing that I understand the Russians use.

Does anyone have any information on how these are dropped? Presumably if they're dispersed from a larger container there would be a lot in it!

PFM-1 dispensers

Good question, I found doc about the KSF canisters who are used to drop the PFM-1's. Wait a moment, I'm trying to dispose of drawings.

Good, now we can begin !
The PFM-1 canisters are called KSF-1. The letters "SK" (CK in cyrillic) can be added. That will say that the casing of the mines is gray-brown color. Without code, the casing of the mines is green.
Three models : KSF-1, KSF-1S, KSF1S 0,5.
Not like the drawing, KSF-1 have not a gas line. Holes in the pistons permit the hot gasses to initiate the delay elements.
other difference is the quantity of PFM-1 in a container (72 for KSF-1 and KSF-1 0,5 or 64 for KSF-1S).
KSF-1 and KSF-1S 0,5 can be launched from a single or multiple canister launcher.
KSF-1S can be launched from a single or multiple tube launcher (therefor see a weapon specialist!)
