Russian VOG-25 Hand grenades.

Who can tell me about these Russian VOG-25 rifle grenades that have been converted to hand grenades?
Fired grenades with alum adaptors and UZRGM fuze and the shorter one has a practice fuze.
The top of these grenades is tapered. Is this the normal shape under the alloy cover?
Were these rifle grenades ever used as hand grenades or is this somebody making up a weird collectable grenade? Comments are welcome.

This reminds me of the Chechen "Khattabka / Khattabachik" grenades (based on VOG-17 bodies). Similar concept to the V40 hand granade. Less bulky and lighter than a conventional hand grenade but still with enough oomph to be a viable weapon.

Yes, the fuze is the same as on the VOG-17 grenade. Just covered by a fairing.

I can't say much about these particular VOG-25, but similar modifications showed up in places like the Caucasus and Syria. It's entirely possible that these were made by some unsavoury individuals to be used as a weapon.
