A few more pictures of what the 500 was like when i took
delivery from the EOD for restoration to final painting.

In total i have spent 60 hours to get this far and will now sit back
and wait for the icing on the cake (the tail fins).

I have taken some pics in colour and in Black and white to
make a comparison.

The trolley is now in matt black and i will let the bomb down
from the winch in 24 hours.

Hope all whos been following this resto has enjoyed it as much as
i have enjoyed doing it.

On to the next one I need an SC250 so all you collectors out there
keep yer eyes peeled

Best phil

That's a fantastic effort Phil, well done, its good to see these things that start off looking like wrecks getting restored.

Dave.

A very nice restoration job Phil, so nice to see a completed project go so smoothly and turn out so well.

What will be your next restoration job I wonder ?

I've just followed this restoration with great interest, I'm amazed at the quality of the workmanship.

I love these Luftwaffe bombs, and this is a great restoration. Really interesting.

I wish I had one of these bombs.

Well done mate, great stuff.
