Mr Junier sorted me out a 88 proj at Stoneleigh for the 'converter' fuze holder i bought in classifieds ages ago.
Hopefully my pal Phil an knock me up a set of tailfins from the drawings kindly supplied from friend and BOCN member T-mine.
Here is the fuze holder correctly sorted with a 41A fuze and gaine pot.The 'windmill' spins freely too.
Thanks to all involved with this project,i reckon it will look superb when finished.

Waff, remember to remove both driving bands. The tasil attachs by 4 punched dots on the lower band groove.

The sintered steel bands are quite brittle and remove easily in a lathe.

Nice piece Waff. Did you use the two little screws to attach the arming spindle to the wind vane? Or is there another part that fits as the attaching mech?

There are indeed 2 screws that attach spindle to vane.

Very clever lads were these designers!,its a nice,simple rig to make an air-dropped weapon out of a projectile.
