Sectioned Grenade No 68 and a Practice grenade

Here is a quarter sectioned Grenade No 68 marked as Lyddite filled, showing the cone, wood piece representing the exploder pellet, spring and striker, without any explosive filling. This grenade was reputedly the first in service shaped charge ordnance in the world.
Also shown is a practice grenade.
