Skip Bomb info wanted

While researching the Marine Aircraft Experimental Establistrials bomb trials during WW11 I came across reference to Skip Bomb trials on Loch Lomond. These were not the Highball or B Bomb (buoyancy bomb) trials conducted by MAEE in Scotland. Can anyone please tell me more about the Skip Bomb and ideally about the trials on Loch Lomond between 1943 and 45. Thank you.
