Please see the attached photo, it’s the small bottle neck round in the centre that I can’t identify. Each side of it is a Morris 297/230 short & long. The headstamp reads RWS *. Any thoughts please?

Difficult to say for sure without some measurements, but it looks like the 5.3x22R "Z" Tesching, which was a cartridge for use in target pistols. It had a rim diameter of 9.3mm, and a base diameter of 8.15mm. The bullet measured 5.71mm diameter.
