In my years of collecting I have never ran across the German WW1 small hairbrush petard grenade. Have seen several and owned one of the larger "box petard" although that one is not that common also. Pictured is my 1/2 assed attempt to make the small petard from scratch. If you drink 11 or 12 beers and squint your eyes just right it actually don't just look too bad. Someday, obviously I would love top find an original WW1 german small petard grenade, but in the interim this one will just have to do.....Dano
