Nice collection. I had no idea that the No 1 primer has been around so long. There was still a version of it in service when I joined the army in 1978.

1- Western Electric Co., North Woolwich
2 - Not known
3 & 4 - The Gramphone Co.
5 & 6 - Abingdon Works, their trade mark was "King Dick"
7 - Not known. However, I'm sure that the "E" surmounted by a Broad Arrow, within a lozenge is the acceptance mark of the Egyptian Army (Egypt was once a British protectorate). What marks are on the case?
8 - Not known, other than it's Canadian.
9 - I think this may be William Tonks Ltd. Unfortunately I don't have my lists to hand.

2 is Harrison Brothers and Howson, Sheffield.
9 is probably Best and Lloyd, Cambray Works, Birmingham.

Hello,
TimG, I show you the three cases I have with a primer made by a maker using a trident as identification.

Dandebur,

See below for what the drawing of the man should really look like
