some scant U.S. stuff

Here's a pic of the few U.S. items in my collection, which surprises even me because i'd think since i'm American i'd collect U.S. stuff. Well I guess I like the German stuff so much that I have at least for now prety much bypassed it for now. Anyway, the H.E. MK1 is obviously a resin replica (every time I come across an original I get priced off the market). The blank body has a hole on top and bottom that are unthreaded so we'll call it a practice body, then your basic MK1 throwing dummy. The 33rd (Illinios National Guard) Division helmet (yellow cross) has period painted insignia while the other helmet is 35th Division (Missouri) is an obvious re-paint. Now I guess if I run across a reasonable MK1 (prefer with early MKII fuze) H.E. I just might pick it up. I guess it depends on what else is out there at the time and whether i'm broke or not....Dano
