First and foremost, this IIWW Romanian documentary is predominantly in English https://www.imdb.com/title/tt19959378/. It all started when Allies commenced bombing of Ploesti and New Zealand, British and American pilots were shot down and imprisoned. MI9 https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MI9 had no assets in Eastern Europe, specifically in Romania, Hungary, Yugoslavia and Czechoslovakia. But British administered Palestine, and there were plenty of new Jewish settlers there from Eastern Europe. So they recruited a new agent force from those people. Originally the focus was on pilots, but when existence of concentration camps was discovered, the mission was expanded. This is a very detailed documentary, based on surviving documents, with present day actors playing out the whole event in black'n'white still photo format. With high relevance to Eretz Israel. Do not miss the very ending of this movie, totally fascinating history of Israel in the first a couple of years after the war, in movie reel form. There are several segments of this documentary in Romanian, Hungarian and Slovak. If you know IIWW history well or speak these languages, you don't need subtitles. My Russian helped a lot.
