stick grenade id

Hi, this is my first post so be gentle with me.
I originally posted this in the wrong forum, sorry about that.
I have been offered the attached stick grenade head, supposedly German
the screw thread method of attachment to the stick handle is not familiar to me however.
is it WW1 German??
is so, does anyone know the model??
is it even a grenade ( and not just an oil filter housing or something )

any opinions much appreciated​

thanks sgdbdr, I found one on the lexpev site which could quite possibly be it.
there is a picture of a stick and also a scan from a book which may be russian.
unfortunately it appears in the unknown section (around half way down the page) so may be it but still no id.

Can you chech measures? Diameter and lenght, also total lenght.

hi, thanks for the reply Tmine35, only have the photo's at the moment.
I will email for some measurements.
the end cap in the picture is unusual design, however I don't actually know if the other pieces really belong to this head
