Strange North Korean Grenade

OK, I'm not a grenade guru (not yet at least) but I came across this foto on militaryphotos.net that I thought I'd share. This grenade is part of a collection of weapons that were captured when the Japanese Maritime Self Defense Force sank a North Korean spy boat. I believe the incident happened in the late 1990s.

Can anyone shed some light on what type of grenade this is?

Hello, From the pic, the grenade looks like it is made of concrete with maybe steel balls mixed in, thus the pile of steel or maybe lead "shot" in corner of pic. The fuse is a UZRG Russian, or a copy of one. An interesting (I think) improvised type grenade.
