Strange one-piece construction APDS 20x102

This is a (to me) unknown 20x102 APDS round.
It’s features are:

- The overall build of the projectile looks like the Mk149 construction, but the pusher does not have a recessed base.
- Sabot is not molded ‘in place’ but has a screw-thread
- The pusher and penetrator are a ‘one-piece’ steel construction
- The sabot does not have any shear-lines, and is made of a hard, stiff and brittle composite/plastic material
- It was fitted in an FN marked 1965 casing (looked original to me)

Could this be an FN sales representative round, something made specially for exhibition purposes or a testing/windtunnel round or something similar?
It clearly would not function due to the one part construction of the pusher/penetrator…

All info regarding this round (or similar constructed ones) is welcome.

Thanks,

Just to revive this thread...

I did found a similar (if not the same) round in an old Dutch ECRA magazine from 2000.

Dutch text translates as: "Another unknown 20x102 round. The projectile has a white plastic sabot without break-up grooves, and a solid, attached core. It also has a copper drivebelt."

So if anyone has some ideas on this one...

Thanks,
Geert.
