Surgeon or Dentist ?

I know it's not ordnance related, but I thought I would ask as there are so many Knowledgeable people on here. I got this box along with other items, mostly military. I think it's probably a Surgeon's or Dentist kit but which ? No markings apart from the inscription on the lid. It would be quite good to know and an idea of it's age. The box measures around 7" x 3" Any comments welcome. SAM_0010.JPGSAM_0011.JPGSAM_0012.JPG

Hi there,
I have a 1920s/30s small dental cabinet complete with contents, your contents do not have much similarity,so I would guess
it's not dental.
Yours seems not to have any probes,or drill bits,or filling material ,etc, etc.
But I'm not a dentist.
Tim.

Thank you Gents. I think you are both right, Surgeon it is. After a lot of online searching, I found one the same, with even more instruments and a cloth cover. Will have to see if I can find a new home for it.
