Is there a (swedish) member to explain this to me ?
I think U with a tilde and that this expression "Ũ:g" means something like the british pound.
Am I right ?
(extracted from "Lärobok i artilleri för nedre afdelningen af artilleriets läroverk : fästinigsartilleriet" Stockholm, 1890)
Yes, it's the "Pound" Symbol. But most regions had their own definitions of the weight of a pound and also length units like mile weren't standardized. I can't tell about the abbreviations behind. They may become clear after reading the text.
