I always thought that Swedish Mauser was never used in anger in military operations. Please look at the photo called

Swedish volunteer, “somewhere in Northern Finland,” protects himself from the sub-zero arctic cold by an eerie mask over his face in February 20, 1940, while on duty against the Russian Invaders. The small holes in the mask are what the soldier sights his rifle through.

Any info on Swedish Mauser usage will be appreciated.

In 1917 Finland has about 2000 Swedish rifles. 1939 Finland bought from Sweden 77 000 rifles. They sold again to Sweden in 1940, because Finland has enough Mosin rifles.
