In 1943, the well-known Finnish company Tampella developped an air-dropped 250kg bomb that was produced in a short series of 200 bombs.
This bomb, officially desgned as Miinapommi Pmi 250 m/43 had a lot in common with the heavy mortar bombs produced by Tampella - Its developpment may have been based upon the fragmentation mortar projectile 300 Krh/42 (which weight was 175kg) developped during 1942-43.
Not a lot or details are known on this bomb, but one sample can be seen at the Finnish Air defense museum ("Ilmatorjuntamuseo") at Tuusula, near Helsinki

An article dedicated to this bnomb was publsihed in 2018 in the now defunct Finnish aviation history magazine ("Suomen ilmailuhistoriallinen lehti" ) by Pentti Manninen.
If someone has acess to this publication (2018 3) it would be nice to get a scan of this article, or at least the main details of this bomb and its use.

And here is the introduction of the above mentioned article, showing teh bomb being tsted on a Tupolev SB2 (quite a number of these bombers were captured by the Finns during thw Winter war in 1939-40 and re-used by them in the continuation war 1941-44)
