Technical information regarding the BL 5.5 Inch Howitzer

Hi all,

I'm currently 3D modelling a replica of the BL 5.5 Inch Howitzer shell, and coming up against the proverbial brick wall when trying to find reference images, technical drawings etc. How the driving bands look and their relative size especially. Hoping someone may be able to help

And also the bottom driving band is to small. It should be 20 mm

Actually your Driving Bands for this 80lb Mk2 should be as per this drawing. You can extralolate the outside dimensions from those shown

So i'd leave your rear DB as is. and just modify your design for future prints.

Forgot to update the thread, but thank to your assistance, this is what I was able to produce
