The best portrayal of the famous 1925 diphtheria outbreak in Nome, Alaska https://www.imdb.com/title/tt5116302/. Also, historically the most accurate. A dog by the name Togo (not Balto) was the real hero of that event. A real dog lover's movie. A dog actor playing the role of Togo is a real 14th generation of Togo descendants. Beautifully filmed in Ala...sorry, Canada.
