torpedo gyro but what Mk? & value

good afternoon, I have been offered this thing which could well be a torpedo gyro unit. Its owner says it is from a Swordfish so I presume aircraft dropped torpedo. Is it? what type of torpedo would it have been used in and what is its value?

thanks for the link Dave, that thing hanging on stalks looks very much like it so I guess its from a MkVIII torpedo. I'll have to do a bit of research on the MkVIII and its uses.

Yep definitely is a MkVIII - not surprising as it was in use from WW2 up to the Falkland War.
