Two bits to identify

The two bits below came with other ordnance related items. Possibly not even military, can anyone identify? The one with holes in Has the word Geidner and a symbol at the very top. A German metal fabricating company I believe, so not much help!

Thanks

The copper looking one on the right looks like a MIG welding gas shield to focus the welding gas out around the wire.

The copper thing looks an awful lot like a large diesel injector bushing. Detroit Diesels uses an almost identical bushing in their engines, and I've made fancy funnels for some or our Civil War re-enactors to use to clean our Enfields and Springfields. I could be wrong !! Thanks for your thoughts so far chaps. Not sure if it makes any difference but the smaller end is closed, there is no hole.
