Two boxes to identify, please

These two boxes came with our Morris C9/B SP Bofors vehicle. Neither is an original fitting and both have spurious stencils. If boxes don't have a number embossed on them I can't identify them so can you help? The rounded one has a paper first aid instruction sheet in the lid so I think even I can guess what it is - but is it military?

Boxes

The "Shell Dressing" box looks like a machine gun belt box, I think German WW2 for the MG34 and 42.

The handles are offset, so two can be carried back to back in one hand.

Thanks for that, TonyE. I had a suspicion that it resembled a 1/35 scale resin German ammo box that I've got somewhere but I couldn't find it to compare. Can anybody confirm TonyE's identification?
