One is very good the other not so much which is a pity ~
The 18pr HE is quite nice, a tad rough on the base from a damp floor but that may clean up. Otherwise
it's quite clean. Reject marks so it never saw a case. I'll put my wood transit plug in this one. I haven't looked up yet who made it.
(I always get it wrong) The poor fired relic is or was a nice ww2 6pr navel practice likely used by a coastal gun at a port.
This time I'll put my money on ; Manitoba Bridge & Iron Works~ :cool:
After a light cleaning (steel wool) of very light surface rust under thin varnish or similar, waxed with wood plug.
As for the 6Pr, a small electric sander is removing a lot of rust without scratching it, it can't be cured, just made to look
a bit better.
