U.S. Schermuly Stun Grenade ?

I have a Schermuly Stun Grenade (Inert) that is fitted with a U.S. Model 201 Type Fuze. I believe that it is the correct fuze, as the British Schermuly Fuze appears to have noticeably larger diameter threads. Were the M201 Fuzed Types made up for a US Contract? I vaguely recall hearing that Kilgore U.S. may have have had some involvement with the Schermuly Stun Grenade, however have not run across any documentation.
