Ugly duckling lemon

Just got this badly painted lemon practice grenade today. Nothing special just had to have it because of the paint job. Looks like it was quickly brushed on by someone who definetly had no artistic skills. :neutral:

Has that got a hole in the bottom?

Yes there is a hole in the bottom. It also has the remnants of the blown ignitor trapped on the inside of the body.

Has anyone else seen a grenade painted like this one? I would have thought the manufacturer would have been required to paint these in acordance with the contract. Also, the color is a very light blue, not the normal inert blue. Any thoughts?

It's probably been repainted. That's usually the case in a situation such as this.
