Uncommon 77 x 230R case

Hello

i have seen a 77mm case (light model). These old models were built from 1896 to 1907 (before the new St model).

This case is stamped 1911 .

Here a classic POLTE from 1898



Here the other from 1911.



Have you seen other light cases with a year over 1907 ?

And the 1911 is a light one?

It's something special for sure because the lot number 1 is "out of range" for the date. This case was somewhere online some time ago because I already have pictures of it.

AWS may have been produced one lot of short blank cases in 1911 which were altered to 77x230 in 1915.
