Unfinished 30mm Aden Case ?

I recently acquired this case unseen with some other stuff and am not quite sure what to make of it as it is outside of my area really.
My guess would be a unfinished case but the belt looks to be machined more than it should, any ideas ?
Best regards Weasel.

How very odd Weasel,in total agreement with you on being over machined for a Aden? what is the lenght of this case please,Aden HV being 115mm

Cheers
Tony

Hi Tony overall case length is 110mm, it is a bit of a mystery.
Best Weasel.

Base looks similar to the bomb ejector carts used on the Canberra bomber,i'll check and post a pic later.

Cheers
Bob

Thanks Bob,
The machining of the band looks almost identical and apart from the length and unfinished base it is a pretty good match. Thank you for taking the time to post those pictures for comparison, best regards Weasel.
