Can anyone identify this 75mm / 13Pdr projectile please. Asking on behalf of a friend, I suspect it was converted into a lamp at some point judging by the large hole in the driving band and 3 tiny holes in the projectile shoulder? I could be wrong.
It has no stampings in the shell body other than those in the images. No stamps indicating shell type, Mark, manufacturer or monograms. And those two grooves below the driving band?
Any help would be much appreciated!
