Unknown 381 shell

Hi all,
I need your help to help a friend to identify what he think to be a 381mm shell.
I receive only the two pictures I post here.
Diameter of the shell is 381mm, what correspond on 15 inch.
The second picture is a picture of the head, not the bottom.
I asked him other pictures, I'm waiting...
Apparently, the rotating band(s) is protected by a "aluminium" band. This "protection" seems strange to me. I ask your advice.
The rotating bands of all the projectiles I known of 380mm (Fr), 38 cm (Ge) or 15in (UK) are not so far of the bottom of the shell.
This flat nose let me think to a flat test shell or something as short range shell.
No markings ! More dimensions are asked. Place of finding is asked too (friend is italian !).

What do you think about it ?

Where is this ordnance? Behind it I seem to recognize the body of an Italian 500 kg bomb.

The the shell's lower rotating band is missing.
