Unknown 75mm shrapnel shell

Hello All,
Wondered if anyone could help me with identifying this 75mm shrapnel shell I picked up in France last year. Dimensions as follows:

Length: 236mm
Dia at bourrelet: 74.5mm
Overall dia: 74mm
Driving band width: 10mm IMG_1032[1].JPGIMG_1033[1].JPGIMG_1029[1].JPGIMG_1030[1].JPGIMG_1031[1].JPGIMG_1034[1].JPG
Distance from driving band to base: 37mm
Dia at threaded portion on front end: 61mm
Rifling grooves are 28 with a RH twist.

There is a 'B' on the base at 6 o'clock with a smaller 'X' below & to the left of it and a '4' with what could be a '7' or part of a crown monogram in the 12 o'clock position.
There are what could be traces of a reddish colour paint over the length of the shell too.
Any help much appreciated.
Kind regards, Ian
