Unknown German/Austrian fuze

Can anyone identify this fuze for me?

It's an alloy shrapnel time fuze with a zinc nosecap and has a brass ring fitted over the bottom deck with 2 locating grooves. The stronger brass ring may possibly be for machine setting?

It has 3 time rings, but the centre ring has no locating slot yet it moves freely.

It has a 3.0 mm thread pitch, which incidentally fits a 75mm Turkish shrapnel shell.

Marked on the nosecap is "GB" (within an oval), "SR" and "2 38".

What ordnance was it for and what country? Is "2 38" the date?

Thanks.

Hello,

Looks like Italian fuze T&P M12 (A.D.E 12).
