Unknown German Item

This is listed a s rocket ... It doesn't look like a rocket. It also states that it was experimental, so maybe someone might know something here.

Dia: 80MM
Length: 409MM
Length of just the warhead: 222MM

No markings on the fuze. It also has 28 "flash-holes".

This is a 8cm HEAT type 4462 Projectile for the PAW (Panzer Abwehr Werfer - Anti Tank Launcher).

Thank you ... now everything makes sense. If the museum would have kept these two pieces together I wouldn't have been confused as to how this thing worked.
