Unknown grenade

Hi all,
I receive this picture of a friend who say that it is a italian grenade WW 1.
I've never see this grenade. Can someone give me more info about it.
To be clear, I have only the picture, nothing other !

Maybe Drill because of the red colour ?

You are right when you say that the red color is used for a practice grenade, the live ones were blue.
