The attached scan taken from the book “In The Public Interest” by Gerald James, shows the company tree of Astra Holding, which developed out of Astra Fireworks to become a multi million pound international arms company.
Astra Pyrotechnics were based in the same location as Astra Fireworks.
Baton rounds made by Astra Pyrotechnics for the UK Government have the loading station code AP.
Found a loose empty case at the Stoneleigh militaria fair. Unfortunately it is very faded, but the stencilling is still readable and it will fill a gap until a better example can be found.
