Unknown manufacturer of signal case

This signal case has the exact same dimensions of a 1939 dated German Kriegsmarine signal case that I have in my collection (25.4x102R31). I have never seen these marks before, can anybody identify the manufacturer and the period of manufacture? The bottom of the case is concave like the German case.

This is a production by the well known "AEG" (top logo) for "Hermann Weiffenbach" a gun smith and or trading house.

Thanks, I got the same answer from another source. So this should be ~WW1 dated then? I know AEG well from 77x230 cases. Is it military or civil?

That I can not answer since cal.4 is not my field at all. But since it is a special order for a private business it looks much like civilian.
