Unknown marking on 4.7 inch nose fuzed HE projectile

Hello everyone,
I was wondering if anyone can help with the identification of what this mark is? It's on the base of an American 4.7 inch nose fuzed HE projectile. Other than some light stampings of numbers on the side, this is the only other mark on the projectile.
